Assembler / Hand Solder II
Level/Pay: Full-Time, Non-Exempt / ITAR Qualified
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble SMT and TH components on various types of printed circuit boards, using hand-held soldering stations.
Install and rework fine pitch surface mount devices.
Identify component types and polarities.
Read and utilize Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings.
Keep the area clean and free of all non-essential tools and components.
Understand and adhere to ESD & ISO procedures.
Must be able to solder RoHS and Non-RoHS.
Rework through a microscope for small components.
Ensure quality of work/product is maintained to standards.
Must be capable of performing solder touch-ups.
Knowledge of IPC-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (experience required)
IPC-7711 Rework of Electronic Assemblies (experience required)
Capable of following process on travelers and providing input for DFM.
Represent Laritech Inc., in a professional, ethical, and socially responsible manner.
Other duties and responsibilities not listed above may be added.
Knowledge and Skill:
High school or equivalent.
Must be able to understand, speak and read English. As well as articulate any issues that arise while working on a PCBA.
2+ years of manufacturing experience and 2+ years soldering PCBA’s preferred.
Experience with the use of hot air rework stations.
Physical Requirements:
Must be in good health and be able to use both hands.
Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
