QC Inspector

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Level/Pay: Full-Time, Exempt

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures (QMS, WI, SOPs, etc.)

  • Investigate, document, and resolve production or customer issues (CARs, NCRs, RMAs, etc.)

  • Design and implement continuous improvement projects to improve capability and performance

  • Host customers and audits

  • Review customer requirements via contract review with an emphasis on space addendum

  • Lead root cause investigations for systemic production or quality issues and implement sustainable corrective actions (CAPAs)

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC, ISO, and AS

Education and/or experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically J-STD-001 Space Addendum or NASA

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills

  • Strategic and continuous improvement mindset with hand-on technical depth

  • Detail-oriented, organized, capable of multitasking with great time management skills

  • Comfortable with public speaking

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering

  • Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification

  • Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, J-STD-001S)
