QC Inspector
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Level/Pay: Full-Time, Exempt
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures (QMS, WI, SOPs, etc.)
Investigate, document, and resolve production or customer issues (CARs, NCRs, RMAs, etc.)
Design and implement continuous improvement projects to improve capability and performance
Host customers and audits
Review customer requirements via contract review with an emphasis on space addendum
Lead root cause investigations for systemic production or quality issues and implement sustainable corrective actions (CAPAs)
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IPC, ISO, and AS
Education and/or experience:
5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically J-STD-001 Space Addendum or NASA
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Excellent cross-functional communication skills
Strategic and continuous improvement mindset with hand-on technical depth
Detail-oriented, organized, capable of multitasking with great time management skills
Comfortable with public speaking
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification
Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, J-STD-001S)
